The Death of Growing Freedom

Well, it looks like my old blog “Growing Freedom” is dead.

Apparently upgrading to the latest version of WordPress without backing things up is a bad idea. By all accounts my content is gone, even if whatever “Internal Server Error” sorts itself out. I suppose I should be upset – I put a good chunk of last year working on that blog, and everything I wrote for it (and the pictures) are gone. But I’m not upset… I’ve never mourned the loss of something I’ve written. And, fortunately, my videos are still on YouTube - but without the context, some of them don’t make any sense at all.

It really is a shame that people can’t see my attempt at gardening for the first time. I really had no idea what I was doing – I read a book, once, and figured it couldn’t be that hard. You can imagine how it went… but I think it’s more fun to show it. I think I’ll post the videos from the attempt in order here, so the effort won’t be completely lost.

In the meantime, how great is this new theme? Now I come here to just to look at the layout… I find it calming, and very professional.
