Volume 1: The Numinous Rebellion
What is this book about?
I’ve always been at a loss to describe it. It’s non-fiction, that much I know, and the average chapter length is about two pages, so it’s an easy read.
But what is the book about?
Everything. Life, the human condition, society and government, freedom, spirituality, Taoism, beer, girls, long fingernails…. everything. As one of my friends put it: “It’s about life.”

Reader Reviews:
“The author is witty, doesn’t take himself too seriously and it’s fun! The perfect book to read while on vacation. It will give you something to think about but in a fun way, highly recommended!” - Alice C.
“There’s nothing terribly new or groundbreaking in this book. It’s not going to change the world or totally blow your mind.
What it is, is an entertaining collection of short essays about life, happiness, government (and revolution!), and many other topics that we all think about every day. There are some very simple and profound ideas here gathered from various religions, philosophies, and personal experiences which add up to give us a glimpse into the mind of a young philosopher who has found his path in life and he wants to share it with you.
Even if you don’t agree with each argument you will be entertained, and it will make you think. I can say with certainty–because I know the author–that every word written is from the heart. However fanciful it may seem, it’s for real, and that gives a power to these prose that cannot be ignored.” - Benek L.
“I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The writing was very personal and easy to relate to. …the book was inspiring, full of innovative ideas and passion. Definitely something you should read!” – Robbyn G.
“The best thing about this book are the short chapters. There’s not too much fluffing around, the author quickly gets to his point, leaving you time to consider whether or not you agree and whether or not he’s a genius or off his rocker. It’s funny too.” - Jenny L.
